The Picker/Packer position at our distribution center is essential for ensuring the efficient picking and packing of products, as well as the timely movement of stock in and out of designated areas. This role is designed for individuals who are capable of performing various tasks related to order pulling, packing orders, stocking, and special operations such as deal breaks and return processing. The primary goal of this position is to move products safely while maximizing productivity and minimizing damage. As an intermediate level position, the Picker/Packer must be proficient in all duties associated with the Picker/Packer 1 role and be able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of the distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for using both radio frequency and paper-based picking methods, which may involve operating different types of equipment to retrieve and transfer products from various locations within the distribution center. You will package and ship products to stores or salons, and may also work in specialized areas such as the Hospital QA Lane, Packing Lane, Store Sorting, UPS Line, and Wrap Stage. Additionally, you will handle special operations tasks, including breaking down product deal packages and processing returns through the RGA process, ensuring that all returned products are inspected for accuracy and damage. Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial, and you will be expected to perform your job functions safely while reporting any potential hazards to management. Productivity standards will be maintained based on assigned tasks, and you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by management. This position requires a commitment to accuracy and customer service, ensuring that all work areas are completed correctly to meet customer expectations.
