About the position

The Production Operator at Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is responsible for producing quality products safely and efficiently by operating bottling and canning equipment. This role involves following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with safety and food safety regulations while maintaining a clean production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment while following written SOPs and verbal instructions.
• Assist with equipment and area preparation, setup, and cleaning/sanitation.
• Perform quality, safety, and regulatory compliance monitoring.
• Regularly inspect product and replenish supplies as needed.
• Support a strong safety culture and maintain a clean production area.
• Ensure professional contact with visitors to represent the company favorably.
• Hold high accountability for work performance to ensure quality.
• Offer proactive suggestions for production-related problems.
• Complete various production-related reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with at least one year of general work experience.
• Previous production environment experience or machine operation experience is desired.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and follow process flow charts.
• Good math, inspection, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Highly motivated self-starter with minimal oversight required.
• Regular, consistent attendance is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous food-grade manufacturing background and understanding of food safety regulations.
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing and equipment operation.
