About the position

The QA Lead position at Deckers is responsible for assisting the Quality Control (QC) Supervisor in managing daily QC inspections. This role involves prioritizing inspections, setting schedules, training new inspectors, and developing communication and training materials. The QA Lead will also handle inspections related to holds, releases, and rejects using an RF gun as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QC Supervisor in daily QC inspections.
• Prioritize inspections and set inspection schedules.
• Train new inspectors on inspection methods.
• Develop communication and training materials.
• Execute day-to-day workload effectively.
• Inspect to address holds, releases, and rejects through the RF gun.

Requirements

• Experience in quality control or assurance in a retail environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inspection schedules.
• Ability to train and mentor new team members.
• Familiarity with inspection methods and tools, including RF guns.
