About The Position

Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on training and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years with leadership experience
• 1-2 years with automotive experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility in a changing environment
• Mandatory overtime flexibility
• Flexibility to go to different shift based on business needs
• English, both written and verbal
• Basic Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Conduct communication meeting with team members
• Support group leaders with PEFF, 5s walk through, communication regarding any issues in the area and problem solving and countermeasures.
• Support group leaders with recording KYTs, IPPMs, scrap, rework/regrind, change point boards, training records and countermeasure implementation for all.
• Support group leaders for investigating safety incidents, escalation procedure, WPS creation and training paperwork.
• Responsible for parameter and hourly checks, hour by hour boards, leading exercise, STD work audits, Kamishibi boards, training to standardized work and team leader audits.
• Responsible for getting supplies (in-house) to the team members.
• Responsible for 5s of their area, respond to ANDONS, maintain printers, recording shift build schedule, copy documents and run red rabbits.
• Announce code yellow/Orange for quality issues and gather quality review or corrective action data.
