About the position

As a Warehouse Order Selector at C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that local families receive their food supplies. This position involves picking, gathering, and organizing products for delivery, while maintaining safety and accuracy standards. Responsibilities

• Picking various items using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Stacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors.
• Ensuring accuracy to orders while adhering to safety standards.
• Operating a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage racks and place them on pallets.
• Applying selection labels to appropriate cases.
• Utilizing proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety and prevent damages.
• Informing the Supervisor of any discrepancies in case quantity or description.
• Performing equipment inspections and completing appropriate forms.
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weights, shapes, and heights.
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Requirements

• General Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift products weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more frequently.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.
