About the position

The 3D Sports Designer for Apple TV's Content Design team is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering high-quality creative work that enhances the sports experience for fans. This role involves crafting innovative and visually stunning design solutions for various sports initiatives, contributing to industry-shaping projects, and setting new standards for sports design across broadcast packages and editorial art. The designer will collaborate with a creative team to energize and excite sports fans through compelling design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Content Design team to deliver compelling and elegant creative for sports fans.
• Develop design concepts from initial development to final production.
• Create innovative and visually stunning design solutions for sports initiatives.
• Work under production deadlines while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Independently develop design directions and present solutions to the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience focused on 3D design for sports, entertainment, and/or marketing.
• Mastery of Cinema 4D, including modeling, lighting, and texturing.
• Proficiency with the latest render engines such as Redshift and Octane.
• Experience in creating highly polished, composited style frames.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Strong enthusiasm for working with sports brands.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on sports projects in the past.
• Strong 2D design skills, including composition and typography.
• Working knowledge of particle software, such as X-Particles or Houdini.
• Experience with 3D animation.
• Familiarity with other 3D software, such as Maya and Unreal Engine.
