About the position

The Office 365 Jr. Administrator will provide essential support to end-users for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune. This role involves troubleshooting client-side issues, managing user setups, and collaborating with senior IT staff to enhance user experience and support processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to end-users for Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Address and troubleshoot client-side issues related to Microsoft 365, handling escalations from OctoHelps and working to resolve tickets efficiently.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior administrators and other relevant IT staff as needed.
  • Perform bulk activations, user setup, and license assignments within the Microsoft 365 admin center to support user onboarding and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators and IT team members to implement best practices, improve support processes, and enhance user experience.
  • Develop and deliver user training on Microsoft 365 features, and create documentation to help end-users maximize the platform's capabilities.
  • Actively monitor and report on system performance and security, identifying potential issues proactively to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with end-user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience with endpoint management using various MDM services, such as Workspace One and Intune.
  • Familiarity with Exchange Online.
  • Ability to follow structured migration and onboarding processes.
  • Strong communication skills for providing effective user training and support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (3 years preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting Outlook client connectivity issues (3 years preferred).
  • Client-facing expertise with Office 365 (3 years preferred).
  • Experience supporting and training end-users on Outlook 2010 (3 years preferred).
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (3 years preferred).
  • Experience managing Exchange and Active Directory permissions (3 years preferred).
  • Experience with shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, and public folders (3 years preferred).
  • Experience supporting MS Office suite 2010, 2013, 2016 & Windows (3 years preferred).

Benefits

  • Contract position with hourly pay between $40.00 - $45.00.
  • Monday to Friday work schedule.
