About the position

Moonshot Labs LLC is seeking a Lead Teacher and Assistant Manager for their PK-G5 science after school and camp programs in San Francisco. The role involves leading hands-on science lessons, developing curriculum, and managing classroom activities while fostering a fun and engaging learning environment for students aged PK to G5.

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons for TK, K, G1-G2, and G3-G5 students
• Develop curriculum and educational materials
• Communicate with schools and parents
• Source materials for experiments
• Supervise science experiments and classroom activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required for head teacher
• 1+ year of classroom or camp teaching experience
• Management experience in preschool, kindergarten, and/or elementary settings
• Preferred experience in science education

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in early childhood education (ECE)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid remote and in-person environment
