About the position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) for Marketing will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with the Marketing Leadership Team. This role is pivotal in enhancing team productivity, managing strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective communication within the Marketing Team and across departments. The CoS will oversee a team focused on marketing analytics, market research, and operations, and will be responsible for driving alignment on strategy and executing the annual plan.

Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment around setting strategy, drafting Quarterly Business Reports, and finalizing and executing on the 2025 annual plan.
  • Help build a successful and healthy organization by reviewing, designing, and executing improvements to organizational structure.
  • Drive the priorities of the Marketing Leadership Team through weekly meetings and shaping offsites.
  • Drive executive business reviews in partnership with the Chief of Staff to the CEO.
  • Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Facilitate internal communications within the Marketing team and the broader organization.
  • Identify and take on ad-hoc strategic projects, executing key initiatives and closing gaps in business and operations.
  • Drive and monitor OKRs and KPIs and executive performance reporting for the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-departmental executives and staff to execute key deliverables and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in a high-growth technology company.
  • M.B.A. or related advanced degree is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in planning & process, strategic and/or financial planning, organizational change, and communications & strategy execution.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with executives.
