About the position

The 3rd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to stores. This position involves working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to the overall success of warehouse operations. Associates will undergo comprehensive training and safety programs to equip them with the necessary skills for their roles.

Responsibilities

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise for shipment and unloads incoming shipments from trucks.
• Performs general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participates in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provides input to warehouse management regarding process improvements.
• Inspects product and consults with management on quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Acts independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assists management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Performs all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Follows ergonomic program procedures.
• Operates equipment safely in performance of job functions.
• Notifies management of product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
