As a Warehouse Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores, catering to our ever-growing customer base. This full-time position typically involves working 30 to 35 hours per week, with a starting wage of $22.50 per hour. Our warehouse operations are designed to be efficient and effective, and you will be part of a dedicated team that works in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments. We provide a thorough training and safety program to equip our associates with the necessary skills to succeed in their roles. Your responsibilities will include selecting and receiving incoming stock to fulfill orders from stores efficiently. You will also be responsible for relocating merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines, sorting, organizing, and loading merchandise strategically for shipment, and unloading incoming shipments from trucks. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse is essential, and you will participate in inventory counts and provide input to management regarding process improvements. In this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be expected to follow company policies and procedures, perform basic arithmetic, and pay attention to detail. Physical requirements include lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and working in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments. Safety is paramount, and you will operate equipment according to established safety guidelines.
