About the position
The Maintenance Technician position at Conagra Brands is a full-time role focused on ensuring the operational integrity of plant facility systems. This position involves performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting machinery, and collaborating with other technicians and vendors to maintain equipment and systems. The role is critical to supporting the company's growth and operational efficiency in the Archbold, Ohio facility.
Responsibilities
- Work independently under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to carry out maintenance operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
- Estimate materials and costs for maintenance tasks.
- Use tools and equipment to design, build, construct, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, set up, or adjust machinery and equipment.
- Assist in preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Maintain records and inventories as required and keep an orderly and clean work area.
- Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a 2-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- High level of machine troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing environment, including experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration systems (NH3), Boiler systems, and HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
