About the position

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Setup Tech/Furnace Operator for the 3rd Shift in Goffstown, NH. This entry-level position involves operating equipment in a manufacturing environment, performing inspections, and ensuring quality standards are met while working in elevated temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Climb ladders up to 6' tall
• Push/pull using rakes/tools
• Pull cart up to 150 pounds for 150'
• Clean with push broom and shovel
• Lift shovel with up to 15-20 pounds
• Bend over to inspect tubs, pick up parts on floor
• Work in elevated temperatures up to 120 F for periods up to 15 minutes
• Perform quench inspection of 2-3 parts per hour handling up to 50 pounds per part.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of mechanical practices and ideas
• Experience/knowledge in a manufacturing setting and operating equipment is preferred
• Basic understanding of the Heat Treat process, 5S, safety and quality policies and procedures
• Ability to operate a computer
• Basic understanding of how to make a minor mechanical or quality adjustment while operating the equipment.
