About the position
The Shipper/Receiver position at Adecco US, Inc. involves performing essential duties related to receiving and shipping products. This role is critical in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall supply chain process.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving duties including unloading of trucks and visually inspecting packages for damage.
- Visually inspect items against packing lists and Purchase Orders to ensure correct part and quantity is received.
- Count or weigh parts to verify quantity.
- Ensure all packages are labelled correctly with company transit labels.
- Use manual and powered material handling equipment to deliver products and materials to the appropriate location.
- Ship and work in conjunction with other shippers to ship out orders in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or Relative Experience.
- Required to sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
