About the position
The 3rd Shift Temp Shipper/Receiver at Campbell Soup Company is responsible for performing various distribution tasks under supervision. This role involves operating forklifts and handling products efficiently and safely, ensuring that production schedules are met. The position is temporary and requires adherence to safety and quality control standards.
Responsibilities
- Unload ingredients and containers off trucks and move them to production areas as required by the production schedule.
- Unload/load finished products by picking orders, accurately meeting a case/hour requirement.
- Lift 50 lb. bags occasionally and 15-25 lb. cases on a continuous basis.
- Put finished products away from production in a timely manner.
- Perform plant services duties such as sweeping and cleaning.
- Follow safety work rules and complete job tasks in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior experience is required.
