The compensation for this role ranges from $34 to $40 per hour, with wages negotiable based on experience. Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit
- Overseeing or participating in wire installations with conduit and cable tray
- Connecting power to equipment
- Leading and developing up to 4 apprentice electricians
- Demonstrating knowledge of other construction trades
- Standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 lbs in a construction work environment
- Climbing and maintaining balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools
- Working in high and precarious places
- Complying with safety standards and using personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- State issued Journeyman Electrician License (NCCER does not qualify as a state license)
- Experience using or the desire to learn the latest BIM/VDC technologies for pre-planning and on-site coordination of projects
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred
