The 4-Axis CNC Turning Center Operator position at Johnson Centrifugal Technology (JCT) involves operating brand new Okuma LU4511 4-axis machines in a family-owned job shop. The role requires the operator to manage their own setups, tooling, program edits, and possible conversational programming. Responsibilities

• Operate 4-axis CNC Turning Center machines, specifically Okuma LU4511.
• Perform setups, tooling, and program edits as required.
• Engage in conversational programming when necessary.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met during operations.
• Maintain equipment and workspace in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of prior CNC setup experience.
• Experience with Okuma OSP control is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a job shop environment.
• Familiarity with stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, and copper alloys.
