About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer position involves working under the supervision of the Engineering Manager on various assignments that are of limited scope and complexity. The role is primarily focused on the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing systems and processes. The engineer will be responsible for determining manufacturing operation requirements and process parameters, developing plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This position requires a solid understanding of statistical methods, including Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC), to support manufacturing processes and quality improvements. In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will participate in writing and reviewing procedures, perform process and equipment validations, and provide technical support to other engineers. The engineer will also be tasked with generating documentation for engineering protocols and reports, as well as writing manufacturing specifications. The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as the engineer will need to effectively communicate with suppliers, engineers, and contractors to resolve conflicts and achieve objectives. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be involved in reviewing product performance data to identify trends and implementing quality system improvements. The work environment is professional, and the schedule typically consists of an 8-hour workday. The dress code is business casual, and the position is located in Santa Ana, CA. Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 1 - 3 Years of Industry Experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Solid oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • PC skills
  • Experience interfacing with suppliers, engineers, architects, and/or contractors
  • Ability to effectively communicate requirements and resolve conflicts
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in statistical analysis
