About the position

The 4th Grade Elementary Long Term Substitute Teacher position at Venetia Valley TK-8 is designed to cover for a teacher on a Leave of Absence from December 9, 2024, to March 24, 2025. The role involves managing a classroom, delivering educational content, and ensuring a supportive learning environment for students during the teacher's absence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Deliver lesson plans and educational content as outlined by the regular teacher.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support student learning.

Requirements

• Valid CA Multiple Subjects Credential with English Learner Authorization.
• Cover Letter.
• Resume.
• 3 signed Letters of Recommendation dated within the past 18 months.
• Copy of your valid credential showing authorizations if available.
• If applicable, an appeasement letter from your college or university stating that you are on track to complete all requirements to receive your credential.
• Copies of post-BA transcripts if available.
• Letter of Introduction.
