About the position

The 5G Network Technologies Architect role at IBA InfoTech involves designing and implementing network architecture with a strong focus on 5G technologies and infrastructure. The position requires extensive experience in telecom and mobile networks, particularly in the context of 5G core network architecture and Radio Access Network (RAN) elements. The architect will work on integrating various network orchestration platforms and automation tools to optimize network performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review customer's 5G network/resources
• Integrate with network orchestration platforms
• Design 5G core network architecture and RAN
• Utilize automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform for network management
• Implement network slicing, MEC, and IoT integration in a 5G context

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture design with a focus on telecom and mobile networks
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with 5G technologies and infrastructure
• Proven experience in SDN/NFV, cloud computing, and virtualized network functions
• Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing, and switching
• Proficiency in SDN, NFV, and cloud-native architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Deep understanding of telecom standards and protocols (e.g., 3GPP, LTE, NR, IMS, VoLTE, VoNR)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and network orchestration platforms (ONAP, OSM)
• Experience with AI/ML-driven network optimization
• Familiarity with Open RAN (ORAN) architecture and solutions
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CCIE, or equivalent certifications in networking or telecom
• 5G-specific certifications from leading telecom equipment manufacturers (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei)
