We are seeking an immediate need for a front end/back end web developer for a project assignment with an established and stable manufacturer and designer of computer storage products. This initial project is expected to last between 1 to 3 weeks, depending on experience. There is a strong possibility that this project will lead to additional assignments with the company, as they are currently in a growth phase. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of database design and management, particularly with MySQL, and will have a working knowledge of JavaScript. Experience in troubleshooting and feature enhancement is essential, but most importantly, candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails. The primary responsibility of this project will be to further develop a web-based inventory tracking system that is already in place. The candidate will be required to work on-site and will be tasked with diagnosing issues related to certain relationships within the system that are not performing as expected, and subsequently correcting the program. This role offers a competitive pay rate of up to $50 per hour.
