About the position
PSEG is seeking an IT Intern for the ServiceNow application area within the Enterprise and Applications group. This role involves working as a Business Analyst and developer, focusing on incident reporting and management, problem management, and cybersecurity applications. The internship is designed for students actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, providing hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside ServiceNow developers and Business Analysts.
- Assist in incident reporting and management using ServiceNow.
- Support problem management processes utilizing the 5-Why methodology.
- Engage in vulnerability management and governance within the Cyber Security space.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology from an accredited institution.
- Graduating between December 2025 and May 2028.
- Completion of freshman level coursework is required.
Nice-to-haves
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Experience with development languages, particularly Java.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, C++, C#, MySQL, and MATLAB.
