The 6G Pipe Welder position at Trinity Employment Specialists involves working in a busy manufacturing facility at the Port of Catoosa. The role requires advanced welding skills, specifically in MIG, Fluxcore, and TIG welding, with a focus on pipe welding. Responsibilities
- Plans details of working procedure.
- Inspects finished product for completeness and conformance to all quality assurance procedures.
- Safely operate all advanced level welding equipment.
- Set up, troubleshoot and make advanced adjustments to welding machines as needed to maintain good production and quality.
- Participates in improvement planning - modification of weld procedures to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 or more years pipe welding experience
- Must be able to pass a 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test and a 6G TIG root FLUX fill in cap on 2 inch schedule 160
- Required to obtain weld certification to AWS/ANSI standards
- Basic Math skills
- Must have a firm understanding of volts and amps and be able to adjust accordingly
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
