About the position

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This role focuses on budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis, supporting the organization's financial processes and ensuring compliance with NFL reporting requirements. The position is based at the Chargers' new Training Facility in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis processes.
• Work closely with the accounting team to prepare and present internal and external financial reports.
• Build and enhance FP&A processes and models under the guidance of the FP&A Manager.
• Collaborate with department heads on budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Handle ad hoc requests and questions related to financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience in a mid-sized or complex early-stage company.
• Big 4 accounting experience or CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Strong understanding of financial/accounting principles and concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with NetSuite and Vena Solutions.
• Prior experience in sports, entertainment, or live events.
