About the position
Greater New Jersey Creative Counseling (GNJCC) is seeking licensed clinicians and behavioral assistants to provide in-home and community counseling services throughout various counties in New Jersey. The role offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment, focusing on delivering individualized treatment plans to children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home/community counseling (IIC) to children/adolescents.
- Provide one-on-one skill-building intervention with children/adolescents.
- Provide support counseling and psycho-education to individuals and families.
- Deliver services based on individualized treatment plans including individual therapy, play therapy, and applied behavioral analysis therapy.
- Implement behavioral interventions and management strategies.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to provide counseling in accordance with client needs.
- Document all activities according to GNCC reporting system.
- Accurately complete time logs and written progress reports.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and professional work environment at all times.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- Licensure for licensed positions: LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
- Driver's License and registered vehicle.
- Willingness to travel.
- Dependable, creative, and enjoys helping others.
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in play therapy.
- Certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).
