About the position
The position involves providing in-home and community counseling services to children and adolescents in various counties of New Jersey. The role is designed for licensed clinicians and those in training, offering flexible hours and a supportive team environment. Responsibilities
- Provide in-home/community counseling (IIC) to children/adolescents.
- Provide one-on-one skill-building intervention with children/adolescents.
- Provide support counseling and psycho-education to individuals and families.
- Deliver services based on individualized treatment plans, including individual therapy, play therapy, and applied behavioral analysis therapy.
- Implement behavioral interventions and management strategies.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to provide counseling tailored to the needs of children/adolescents.
- Document all activities according to the GNCC reporting system.
- Accurately complete time logs and written progress reports.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and professional work environment at all times.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree, LAC, LSW, or higher required.
- Must have licensure for licensed positions: LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
- Driver's license and registered vehicle required.
- Willingness to travel.
- Dependable, creative, and enjoys helping others.
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in behavioral management and interventions.
