About the position
The OTR CDL Driver position involves driving a glider truck and requires a commitment to safety and efficiency. The role offers competitive pay based on mileage and is ideal for experienced drivers who are comfortable with manual transmission and paper logs.
Responsibilities
- Drive a glider truck (Cascadia) on long-haul routes.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, including Russian-speaking personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Hazmat and tanker endorsements are required.
- Valid medical card is necessary.
- Ability to use GPS and smartphone for navigation.
- Must pass a drug test.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with manual 13-speed transmission.
