About the position

This position serves as the IT Operation Analyst for the Technical Architecture Unit in the Office of Florida Health Care Connections (FX) at the Agency for Health Care Administration. The IT Operation Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's technical operations environment. This role ensures that systems, applications, and infrastructure are executed reliably and efficiently. The IT Operation Analyst works closely with FX solution partners to develop, implement, and troubleshoot technical solutions, ensuring that critical processes are completed on time and without error. This position reports directly to the FX Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the FX program's systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Analyze system performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure systems are running efficiently and securely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the FX program's infrastructure and systems.
• Work with vendors to address and resolve technical problems.
• Work with the release manager to ensure all releases have met requirements and testing standards.
• Understand the dependencies between release items and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Ensure communications are sent to stakeholders for all releases and develop processes for after-hours communications.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations within the FX program.
• Document and maintain operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Provide training and communicate policies and procedures to team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the daily maintenance of applications and underlying systems.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational success.
• Develop and maintain continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as required to support the FX program's operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in operations management or a similar role.

Nice-to-haves

• Preference for experience working in the health care sector.
• Preference for bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Preferred: Relevant certifications in IT operations or IT management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to provide after hour support on nights and weekends as required.
