About the position

The 7-12 School World Language Spanish Teacher position is a full-time role located at 3338 East Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish language instruction to students in grades 7 through 12. This position requires a strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogy, as well as the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. The teacher will create lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Spanish teacher will collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the language program and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education. The teacher will also be expected to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing feedback on student progress and addressing any concerns that may arise. This position is probationary, with a competitive salary starting at $40,500, commensurate with experience, and is set to begin on September 3, 2024.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
