About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Clifton, NJ. This role focuses on empowering students with diverse learning needs by providing educational services in a supportive school environment. The BCBA will collaborate with school staff to drive positive behavioral outcomes and ensure effective behavior management strategies are implemented.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to meet individual student needs
- Provide direct behavior therapy and train school staff, students, and families in behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to implement effective behavior support strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and analyze data for improvements
- Offer ongoing professional development to school personnel on behavior management techniques
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification
- Preferred experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
