About the position

The Customer Service Associate II at TJ Maxx plays a crucial role in supporting the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by acting as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty. This position focuses on maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies. Associates are expected to engage with customers, monitor store activities, and document incidents as necessary, all while embodying the company's values of integrity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management in executing core responsibilities.
  • Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
  • Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
  • Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
  • Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
  • Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management.
  • Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
  • Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prioritizes and organizes workload effectively.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • 0-2 years of retail or security experience.
