As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, as well as to actively promote loyalty programs. This position requires you to lead by example, engaging and interacting with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, which is essential for enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. In this dynamic role, you will create a positive internal and external customer experience by fostering a culture of honesty and integrity. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they are equipped to personalize the customer experience while effectively promoting loyalty programs. Your leadership will extend to assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates, ensuring that the store operates smoothly at all times. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you strive to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. Effective communication with management and Associates will be crucial as you set and address priorities, providing progress updates as necessary. You will be expected to provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, fostering a supportive team environment. Additionally, you will partner with management to identify Associate training needs, promoting adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. Your role will also involve supporting store shrink reduction goals and promoting safety awareness to maintain a safe working environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed, contributing to the overall success of the store and the satisfaction of our customers.
