About the position
The Sales Representative I position at Formosa Plastics Corporation aims to maximize Polyolefins resin sales within a designated domestic geographic region. This role is aligned with the corporate strategy and focuses on generating new business while maximizing existing customer relationships. The representative will coordinate and facilitate strategies for growth, business and product development, and manage customer contacts to ensure high-quality relationships and service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate strategies for growth, business and product development.
- Develop and implement new sales strategic plans and tactics.
- Maintain high-quality customer contacts and relationships.
- Provide ongoing technical support to customers for product quality complaints.
- Coordinate on pricing, credit terms, and sales contracts.
- Respond to sales inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions, and new product development.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in the plastics industry.
- Understanding and experience with various Polyolefins products.
- Excellent English verbal, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with the Polyolefins production process and technology.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience.
