About the position

The Bulk Delivery Driver position at American Welding & Gas, Inc. involves transporting CO2 and cryogenic liquids using transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels. The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The driver will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, compliance with operating procedures, and maintaining a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies.
• Prepare, complete, and ensure accuracy of paperwork.
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled.
• Perform pre-inspection of vehicle and report any problems to manager.
• Maintain electronic trip-logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Complete overnight trips as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company administered road test.
• Delivery experience is a plus.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Clean driving record with 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers.
