About the position
American Welding and Gas (AWG), a leading provider of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL-B license to join their team in Bozeman MT. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a renowned industrial gases provider that values safety above all else and provides high-quality equipment. If you have a Class B CDL, Hazmat Endorsements, and a clean driving record, this is an opportunity you need to pursue!
Responsibilities
- Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
- Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Able to read and write English
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
- Ability to communicate with customers
