About the position
GCG Automation & Factory Solutions is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the 80/20 aluminum extrusion product line. This role is pivotal in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy to enhance market presence and drive growth across the Midwest. The Product Manager will collaborate with sales and technical teams to create data-driven campaigns and identify market opportunities, ensuring that the product line meets customer needs while fostering innovation.
Responsibilities
- Craft and implement strategic growth plans using SWOT analysis.
- Serve as a key resource for product knowledge and market insights.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients to provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team on sales strategies and promotions.
- Utilize CRM tools and analytics to monitor performance and analyze trends.
- Partner with product management, supply chain, and operations for product availability.
- Guide and develop sales and technical teams on product applications.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years in T-slotted aluminum extrusion systems with a history of driving growth.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional settings and ability to influence without direct authority.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at translating technical concepts.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%) across the Midwest.
