About the position
The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach at Decorah Community School District is responsible for instructing and mentoring student-athletes during practices and games. The role involves developing strategies for the team and fostering a positive learning environment for young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Instruct athletes during practice and meets.
- Create strategies for the team.
- Provide mentorship to student-athletes.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching basketball at the middle school level or higher.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop and implement training programs.
