About the position

As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will play a key role on a Scrum team within the Enterprise Digital Profile organization. This position focuses primarily on front-end development using Angular, with some back-end responsibilities in Java. You will collaborate with various team members to deliver exceptional customer experience solutions, while also gaining a comprehensive understanding of the web applications involved.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Scrum team to deliver outstanding customer experience solutions.
• Work closely with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Architects.
• Craft, build, test, and deliver features for Fidelity's Digital experiences.
• Engage in technical and design discussions with peers.
• Utilize Agile software development methodology to produce scalable and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience, preferably in financial services applications.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a desire for growth and learning.
• Ability to communicate technical needs to non-technical team members and partners.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and supporting key applications and features in a team environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile software development methodology.
• Extensive experience in solving complex business problems with scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of internet, mobile, and application architecture, as well as current and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS, and GraphQL.
