About the position

The Customer Experience Associate in Furniture/Large Appliances is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in discovering innovative products. This role involves educating customers about furniture and large appliances, ensuring a fun and informative shopping experience, and staying updated on product trends. The associate will engage with customers, listen to their needs, and offer appropriate product suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer promptly.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow-up questions.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary shopping experience.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Retail experience with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Quick thinking to answer customer questions.
• Initiative and brand knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed.
• Helpful attitude towards customers and team members.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
