About the position

The SQL Database Analyst position at Innova Solutions is a senior-level role focused on serving the Intelligence Community. The analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining agile applications, ensuring database compliance, and providing technical direction for complex analyses. This role requires an active Secret Clearance and is a full-time contract-to-hire position based in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain agile applications that meet client requirements.
• Review new technologies to improve application performance.
• Maintain database compliance; deploy upgrades and develop secure B2B solutions.
• Work in an IT development environment focused on engineering analysis for DoD clients.
• Provide technical direction or perform complex analyses individually or in coordination with team members.
• Design, implement, and test features of complex information systems that provide Business Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 8 years of IT experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve anomalies in system design and performance.
• Ability to interface with various levels of client management and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in optimization of data storage for analytics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with data structures supporting PPBE business systems on Linux and Windows.
• Conceptual understanding of industry standards and DoD's RMF.
• Experience supporting J2EE applications.
