988 Clinical Supervisor - Chat/Text, Licensed

About the position

The 988 Clinical Supervisor is a remote position focused on providing clinical oversight for staff handling incoming chat/text messages through the 988 Suicide Prevention and Crisis service. This role involves ensuring quality assurance through audits and monitoring, facilitating staff training, and maintaining compliance with ethical and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality assurance measures to include chat/text audits and silent monitoring of all Crisis Specialist staff
• Provide performance-based supervision to a team of Crisis Specialists; review application of clinical and training skills, provide coaching where necessary, identify areas of improvement, and make recommendations for remediation
• Facilitates bi-weekly staff meetings, staff trainings and staff development functions
• Assists in orientation and delivery of clinical training content that is reflective of clinical best practices, aligned with programmatic policies and procedures
• Ensure coordination with supervisory staff in developing individualized remediation plans, as needed
• Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation

Requirements

• Master's Degree in mental health or related field required
• Five years of experience in field of mental health, mental health trauma, or crisis management and suicide prevention preferred
• One year of crisis and suicide prevention management required
• Licensed Mental Health Professional required
