About the position

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to serve as a product manager at Finxera. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated group of engineers across various teams, including software development, product support, and quality assurance, to help deliver high-quality releases to our customer base. Your primary goal will be to collaborate with the Finxera development team to build and deploy our solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Java, Node.js, Angular, React, and React Native. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that management can deliver top-notch releases while fostering effective communication among global teams and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a product manager, you will work directly with a core and innovative Product Management team on assigned solutions at various stages, from definition to delivery of Finxera products and features. You will establish and maintain relevant connections to the market through interactions with users and collaboration with market-facing Sales and Account Managers, as well as the technology and content development teams, quality assurance, and the design and usability team. This collaboration is essential to ensure the development and delivery of a world-class suite of financial products. Utilizing agile methodologies, you will define requirements, prioritize features, provide business guidance, and perform acceptance testing for newly developed software products, as well as enhancements to existing products. You will serve as a domain and product expert, championing user-centered designs and documenting ideas clearly and concisely using wireframes and other technical tools to ensure a smooth hand-off to the development team.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the core Product Management team on assigned solutions from definition to delivery.
• Establish and maintain connections to the market through user interactions and collaboration with Sales and Account Managers.
• Utilize agile methodologies to define requirements, prioritize features, and perform acceptance testing.
• Serve as a domain and product expert and champion user-centered designs.
• Document ideas clearly using wireframes and other technical tools for development hand-off.

Requirements

• Strong academics with a minimum of 70% or above through Senior Secondary.
• An MBA in product management, marketing, finance, or a related field is required.
• Strong product management, business analysis, and software development experience.
• Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives.
• Basic understanding of lean/agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical abilities and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently, and be a strong team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, Project Managers, and Management towards a common goal.
• High motivation and desire to help the customer and the company succeed.
• Experience with payments (Credit Card processing, ACH, Check, wire) is highly preferred.
