About the position

We are seeking talented and motivated engineers to join our office in Chandigarh as part of our Sustaining Engineering team. This role is crucial to support our rapid growth and involves hands-on database programming. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to implement and manage our 24x7 production support. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a smart and talented group of developers and quality assurance engineers on the Finxera application, utilizing the latest web technologies. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can learn quickly, grow with the company, and embrace the challenge of delighting our customers while building our business.

Responsibilities

• Level 3 Support.
• Monitoring production environment and ensuring smooth functioning.
• Working under strict timelines and multi-tasking to resolve production issues.
• Troubleshooting database issues and maintaining database systems availability and scalability.
• Communicating with internal and external teams to provide updates and root cause analyses (RCAs) for any issues.
• Ensuring all system reports are delivered in a timely manner.
• Setting up a strong infrastructure monitoring and alerting system.

Requirements

• Strong academics with a minimum of 70% or above through Senior Secondary.
• Strong programming, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MySQL and NoSQL databases is a big plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently; strong team player.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, project managers, and management towards a common goal.
• High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
