Responsibilities

  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of animals.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures as required.
  • Provide preventative care and health education to pet owners.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working as a veterinarian.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from a USA, Canada, or West Indies based university or college, or a Medico Veterinario Zootecnista (MVZ) from Mexico.
  • Completed North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
  • Commitment to immigrating and moving to Australia or New Zealand for a minimum of 1 year.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a specific veterinary specialty (e.g., surgery, dermatology).
  • Familiarity with Australian or New Zealand veterinary practices and regulations.
