About the position

The System Administrator 1 position at CDO Technologies involves maintaining and supporting IT equipment and systems at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, hardware installation, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to provide solutions and support for various IT-related issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's IT services.

Responsibilities

• Implement enterprise print server management, security, configuration control for print servers.
• Perform server maintenance and patching to include server OS updates, security patches, and any other Government required patches.
• Provide technical solutions and escalated support for technical issues.
• Maintain STIG compliance on hardware and software.
• Provide configuration management for the production environment.
• Managing file permissions and file servers.
• Scheduling server backups and remediating server backup issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience (or 2+ years of technical training plus 2+ years of experience) providing maintenance, technical, logistics, and life cycle support of equipment such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, network devices, servers, SANs, NAS and mobile devices.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as COMPTIA Security+ or Equivalent.
• Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
