Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit, preferably MICU.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN).
• Previous travel nursing experience.
