About the position

The Radiologic Evaluator Technical Lead serves as the on-site technical resource for addressing daily issues related to process and inspection staff. This role involves assisting with process control, cross-training employees, and ensuring adherence to quality requirements. The Technical Lead is responsible for improving technical performance, conducting training, and facilitating communication among team members to maintain a harassment-free environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in staffing projections and handles first line technical performance issues.
  • Communicates respectfully with employees regarding workmanship issues and notifies supervision for further action.
  • Trains employees on new skills and provides feedback for continuous improvement of inspection personnel.
  • Coordinates resources to support daily throughput and assist other departments as needed.
  • Ensures quality requirements are followed and corrects deficiencies in processes.
  • Facilitates technique card and router changes and participates in root cause analysis for variant conditions.
  • Sets up molding parameters on new tools and evaluates current parameters for process improvement.
  • Cleans and maintains tools, including dies and airboxes, and evaluates wax dies for damage.
  • Interfaces with customers and engineering to provide process walks and presentations.
  • Assures compliance with safe work habits and company policies.

Requirements

  • Certification in the required area based on departmental needs or ability to certify within 90 days.
  • TATS certification and other relevant certifications as required by the department.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to make shop floor presentations to customers and other departments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment related to aerospace or structural components.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques.
