About the position

The Asset Protection Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Walmart facilities. This position involves monitoring access control, conducting safety audits, and supporting compliance with health and safety regulations. The associate will collaborate with facility management to address employee health and safety issues, implement process improvements, and promote environmental protection within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support facility security staff and monitor access control equipment.
• Conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits and reviews.
• Create audit reports and analyze claims related to worker's compensation.
• Engage with stakeholders to deliver project activities and support process updates.
• Gather and interpret data to create reports and suggest automation tasks.
• Assist in training delivery and maintain training content repositories.
• Communicate effectively with team members and business partners.
• Identify gaps in processes and suggest improvement strategies.
• Promote environmental issues and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year of work experience in a related field such as criminal justice or loss prevention.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety auditing processes.
• Ability to analyze data and create reports using digital tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention, or safety compliance.
