About the position

The Cultivation Team Lead at Trulieve is responsible for overseeing a team of 4 to 8 employees in the cultivation department. This role ensures adherence to company policies, provides training, and maintains operational standards to support the growth of cannabis plants in a controlled environment. The lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that employees are well-informed and equipped to perform their tasks effectively, contributing to the overall mission of providing quality products to patients in need.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees are aware and adhere to the company's Uniform and Attendance policies
  • Ensure all employees receive proper training for the task at hand and that tasks are completed according to the SOPs
  • Answer and respond to all questions employees have regarding job functions
  • Perform daily team meetings to go over assignments for the day
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean on a daily basis
  • Complete daily Employee Assessment logs in SharePoint
  • Complete daily Room Logs in SharePoint
  • Ensure all IPM logs, PPM, PH logs, and Calendars in the grow rooms are filled out daily in proper format
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment as needed
  • Control inventory and ensure order request forms are submitted weekly
  • Report to management regularly with updates, problems, or comments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong understanding of plant nutrients and their deficiencies
  • Experience growing cannabis in different environments with various techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Strong understanding of common grow room equipment including electrical systems, lights/light bulbs, timers, irrigation systems, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and plumbing
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must have a valid State Driver's License or ability to obtain one
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
