Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read instructions and safely operate machines.
• Ability to visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced.
• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to effectively use a tape-measure and perform simple mathematics.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required.
• Ability to work in a team environment while collaborating, troubleshooting, and problem-solving with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor by properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork related to Pre-Assembly tasks.
• Maintain and safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Perform and document required quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
